Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Ewert joined the Company in 1995. From 1996 to 1999, he served as General Merchandise Manager. From 1999 to 2000, he served as Vice President – Merchandising and General Merchandise Manager. In April 2000, he was named Senior Vice President – Merchandising, and in March 2001 he was named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, K&G Men's Company. In March 2002, he was named Executive Vice President and General Merchandise Manager. In January 2005, he was named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. On January 26, 2008, he was named President and Chief Operating Officer. On June 15, 2011, Mr. Ewert became President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
EVP, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
Jon W. Kimmins joined the Company in April 2013 as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Principal Financial Officer. Mr. Kimmins served as the Executive Vice President – Finance and Operations of LF-USA, Inc., a division of Li & Fung Limited, a wholesaler of apparel, footwear and fashion accessories, since April 2008.
Mr. Edwab joined the Company in 1991 and served as Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. In 1993, he served as Chief Operating Officer of the Company. In 1997, Mr. Edwab was named President of the Company. In 2000, Mr. Edwab resigned as President of the Company to join Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. ("Bear Stearns") as a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Retail Group in the Investment Banking Department of Bear Stearns. Concurrently, Mr. Edwab was named Vice Chairman of the Board for the Company. In 2002, Mr. Edwab re-joined the Company and continues to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board. Mr. Edwab is an "inactive" Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Edwab is also a director of New York & Company, Inc., where he serves as chairman of their nomination and governance committee and is on their audit committee, and Vitamin Shoppe, Inc., where he serves as lead director, is on their audit committee and is chairman of their compensation committee.
Chief Creative Director
In December 2012, award-winning menswear designer Joseph Abboud joined the Company as Chief Creative Director pursuant to the terms of a consulting arrangement. Prior to Men's Wearhouse, Mr. Abboud founded and served as Chairman Emeritus and Design Leader for JA Apparel Corp. and served as the President and Chief Creative Officer of HMX Group, where he led the creative direction and modernization of iconic apparel brands including Hickey Freeman, Hart Schaffner Marx, Coppley, and Bobby Jones. Earlier in his career, Mr. Abboud served a twelve-year tenure with high-end clothing store, Louis Boston, before going on to design for Polo Ralph Lauren and eventually launching his own clothing collection.
President, Chief Merchandising Officer
Mary Beth Blake joined the Company in May 2008 as Chief Merchandising Officer of K&G Men's Company Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. In November 2008, Ms. Blake was named President of K&G. In February 2013, Ms. Blake was named Executive Vice President - Business Development of the Company and, in April 2013, her title was changed to Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer. In September 2014, Ms. Blake was named President and Chief Merchandising Officer.
Brand President - Men's Wearhouse and Moores
From 2011 to 2014, Scott Norris was Executive Vice President Merchandising for Men's Wearhouse, Moores and tuxedo rental. Norris began his career at Men's Wearhouse as a Buyer in 1996, and successfully worked his way up through the Company by becoming Divisional Merchandise Manager of Dress Furnishings in 2001, Vice President and General Merchandise Manager (GMM) in 2005, and Senior Vice President and GMM in 2006. Norris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from California State University Sacramento.
William C. Silveira joined the Company in July 1997 as Director - Manufacturing. In March 2000, he was named Vice President - Manufacturing. In March 2001, he was named Senior Vice President - Manufacturing and, in March 2005, he was named Executive Vice President - Manufacturing.
EVP, Store Operations
Mark Neutze joined the Company in May 1995. In March 2004, Mr. Neutze was named Vice President - Stores. In April 2007, Mr. Neutze was named Senior Vice President - Stores. In March 2010, Mr. Neutze was named Executive Vice President - U.S. Store Operations and, in 2011, he was named Executive Vice President - Store Operations.
Chief Legal Officer and EVP, Employee Relations
Carole L. Souvenir joined the Company in April 1998 as Vice President - Employee Relations. In March 2002, she was named Senior Vice President - Employee Relations. In August 2006, she was promoted to Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President - Employee Relations.
Executive Vice President
Charles Bresler, Ph.D. joined the Company in 1993. From 1993 to 1998, he served as Senior Vice President - Human Development. In February 1998, he was named Executive Vice President. In March 2003, he was renamed Executive Vice President - Stores, Marketing and Human Development. In January 2005, he was named President of the Company. On January 26, 2008, he was named Executive Vice President - Marketing and Human Resources. In March 2011, his title was changed to Executive Vice President.
EVP of Marketing
Matt Stringer joined the Company in 1999. In March 2008, Mr. Stringer was named Vice President – Marketing and in March 2011 was named Senior Vice President – Marketing.
Jamie Bragg joined the Company in June 1991. In October 2005, Mr. Bragg was named Vice President - Distribution. In April 2007, Mr. Bragg was named Senior Vice President - Tuxedo Distribution and, in March 2011, Mr. Bragg was named Executive Vice President - Distribution.
Mike Nesbit joined the Company in December 2003 as the President of our dry cleaning operations. Mr. Nesbit has over 40 years of experience in the dry cleaning industry and founded Nesbit’s Cleaners, which was acquired by the Company in 2003 and rebranded as MWCleaners.
Brand President - Jos. A. Bank
Paul Fitzpatrick was most recently President and Chief Operating Officer of ESP Group Ltd. from 2010 to 2013 and previously, he was Executive Vice President and General Merchandise Manager of Men's and Children's for Macy's West. From 1992 to 2009, Fitzpatrick held various positions at Macy's West, including EVP and GMM Home Furnishings, Regional Store Director, and San Francisco Union Square Store Manager. From 1988 to 1991, Fitzpatrick served as Senior Vice President and GMM and SVP and Director of Stores at I Magnin in San Francisco. Fitzpatrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Manhattan College.
EVP, Direct Sourcing
Jim Thorne will be primarily responsible for product development, manufacturing and sourcing. He was Executive Vice President Merchandising and Chief Merchandising Officer for Jos. A. Bank since 2009. He joined Jos. A. Bank in 1986 and has held a variety of positions as he worked his way up through the company. Thorne was Vice President and GMM for Tailored Clothing from 2000 to 2005 and Senior Vice President Planning and Allocation from 2006 to 2008. He started his retailing career as a management trainee at Belk Department Stores, eventually becoming a buyer. Thorne graduated in 1982 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
